PARALLEL Configuration
WARNING
Improper configuration, installation, and/or usage can result in permanent damage to the batteries themselves,
any electrical system they’re connected to, or worse. Please ensure the batteries are properly installed in the
configuration that best suits your needs.
Note:
Parallel configurations are used to achieve higher overall system capacity. We’ll demonstrate a 3P parallel
configuration (using three 12V 100Ah batteries) for a 12V 300Ah system. Your setup may vary with additional
accessories, the basic example below is for demonstration purposes only.
1.
Ensure the batteries are powered off.
2. Mount the batteries in desired location.
3. Connect the positive (
+
) terminal of your first battery to the positive (
+
) terminal of your second.
4. Connect the positive (
+
) terminal of your second battery to the positive (
+
) terminal of your third.
5. Connect the negative (
-
) terminal of your first battery to the negative (
-
) terminal of your second.
6. Connect the negative (
-
) terminal of your second battery to the negative (
-
) terminal of your third.
7.
Connect the main positive (
+
) load cable to the positive (
+
) terminal of the third battery.
8. Connect the main negative (
-
) load cable to the negative (
-
) terminal of the third battery.
