Programming the Electronic Head
Note: Remove protective film from electronic head screen.
Note: These settings are specific to this system. Do not make changes to the settings unless instructed by
technical
service. All settings have to be set by first setting the clock to 12:01 PM. To restart programming, you
must start over at step 1.
Step 1: Setting the
Head
1.
Press and hold the UP or DOWN button to change the clock to 12:01 PM.
2.
Press the EXTRA CYCLE button once.
3.
Press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons together, until DF is displayed in the left corner. Scroll
using the UP and DOWN arrows until "GAL" is selected. Press EXTRA CYCLE.
4.
Follow the steps in the table below to finish setting the
head
. When each setting is displayed, use
the UP and DOWN buttons to scroll to the appropriate data setting displayed in the table. Press
EXTRA CYCLE to select the data setting and go to the next setting.
Electronic Head Features
•
Power backup that continues to keep time and the passage of days for a minimum of 48 hours in the event of a
power failure. During a power outage, the control goes into a power-saving mode. It does not monitor water
usage during a power failure, but it does store the volume remaining at the time of power failure.
•
While in service, the display alternates between time of day and volume remaining.
•
The Flow Indicator flashes when outlet flow is detected.
•
The Service Icon flashes if a regeneration cycle has been queued.
•
A Regeneration can be triggered immediately by pressing the Extra Cycle button for five seconds.
•
The Parameter Display displays the current Cycle Step (B1,BD,B2, etc) during regeneration, and the data display
counts down the time remaining for that cycle step. While the valve is transferring to a new cycle step, the display
will read "----". Once the valve reaches the cycle step, the display will stop flashing and the data display will
change to the time remaining. During regeneration, the user can force the control to advance to the next cycle.
