Caution! Always wear gloves when handeling the crushed glass; some pieces can be very sharp.

A 4 lb bag of crushed fire glass is included with the Q2G. Open the bag carefully and spread it out evenly 

over the enameled tray. Do not pour the entire bag contents out just use enough glass to cover the tray 

lightlly. The rest of the glass should be kept for replacement if needed. If too much crush glass is used 

the flame appearence could be compromised or soot build-up may occur. The holes in the burner pan are 

used  to supply fresh air to the flame; the crushed glass will jam in on itself over these holes. It is perfectly 

acceptable for some glass pieces to fall through upon installation.
