VFD Status Messages
6.3. VFD Status Messages
The Variable Speed Drive (
VFD
) in the
AC
Motor Control Box has a status display that may help you
diagnose electrical problems on the
ULTRA
. The following is a list of useful status codes and their mean-
ings:
•

(Stop) - The drive is healthy and in a stopped condition. The motor is not
energized. No enable signal is present to start the drive.
•


(I.t-trp) - Motor thermal overload protection trip. The
VFD
shut down
the
AC
motor in order to protect it from thermal overload. Check the compactor

Light Sensor 5

Retro-reflector materials sen-
sor failure. Clean sensor lens and reflector. Calibrate sen-
sor. Test the sensor with the Diagnostic Pro-
gram (Ultra-48 / Sensors).

Receipt Button
Contact Envipco Support
The receipt button has failed.
It may be stuck. Check if the button is jammed.
9710 Feed Ctrl Error
Light Curtain
Contact Envipco Support
The Light Curtain is errone-
ously reporting that it is
blocked. Check Light Curtain harnesses, especially the
ribbon cable that connects the two sides of
the light curtain (across the Sensor Tunnel).
Test it with the Diagnostic Program (Ultra-
48 / Sensors)

Recovery unsuccessful
Call Staff
The
RVM
attempted to clear a
jam but was unsuccessful.
