Wiring the
Entelica Meter
i
s very simple.
The electrical wires that are provided
with the
Entelica Meter
are labeled: NEUTRAL (White), PHASE
-
1 (Black),
PHASE
-
2 (Red) and PHASE
-
3 (Blu
e
). Besides the NEUTRAL wire
, which
is
connected to the Neutral bar
, each of the “PHASE” wires must be connected to
separate 10A
-
20A circuit breakers
(
see
Figure
3
and
Figure
4
)
.
2.2
Wiring CTs
To measure energy consumed per circuit, current transformers (CTs) will be
used.
The
Entelica Meter
comes with 42 terminals for CT
s connection, of which,
s
ix (6) terminals
are located on top of the enclosure and eighteen (18) on the
side
(
see
Figure
2
)
.
The top terminals are to be used
for measuring energy of
each PHASE; and the terminals on the side are for
measuring energy of each
circuit.
Each CT will use 2 terminals; therefore 21 CTs can be connected to this
product.

while depressing
the yellow tab of the terminal. Make
sure that the insulation is stripped from the wire and that the wire is inserted as
far in as possible. Next, i

line
that is connected
to the
circuit breaker to measure energy for that
particular feed.
