IMPORTANT:
values must be entered in each
slot, even if they are zeroes before or after the decimal
point.
IMPORTANT:
the settings configured in this
menu are stored in memory and maintained even
if the device is turned off. By changing the module
model under test, the values must be updated.
IMPORTANT:
all modules under test must
be of the same type and category with the same
nominal values of the above parameters. Otherwise,
inconsistent results may be produced.
Once the parameters are entered, press the variable
name button again to save the new value.
The name will change back to blue and the new
configured value will appear in the box immediately
below. If the value that appears is not the value that
was set, it must be re-entered making sure to enter
numeric values in all spaces where hyphens appear.
5.5.5 Generator settings
IMPORTANT:
before starting a new set of
measurements, make sure that the values configured
in this section match those of the generator under
test.
For a correct extrapolation of the measured I-V curves, it
is necessary to configure the number of modules in series
and in parallel in the “Generator settings”
(section 5.5.5
and Figure 5.13.).
To configure the generator parameters under test
enter the menu through:
· Settings -> Generator settings
Entering this sub-menu will display the screen
shown in
Figure 5.14.
where the message “Generator
settings” on the top left will be shown.
To configure one of the variables (number of
modules series or parallel) press the name of the
variable. The pressed area will change to red and
the numeric value of that variable will be replaced
by hyphens, which indicates all digits that must be
entered to set the variable
(Figure 5.15.).
The digits
filled in will occupy the corresponding positions
automatically.
