Section 3: Mounting without Bracket 

Step 2

: Using your thumb or 

pliers, push and remove the 

knockout of the UMC’s front 

case.

Step 3

: Insert the 

½

” Chase 

Nipple through the knockout 

hole of the UMC’s front case.

Step 4

: Insert the sensor into 

the UMC case pulling the 

cables through the Chase 

Nipple. Make sure the lens and 

antenna are visible through 

the hole in the front.

Step 5

:  Slide to close the 

UMC back cover. 

Refer to the design guideline to ensure that the condition is 

met. Complete Steps 1, 2, and 3 of Section 1:  UMC 

Installation before following the procedure below.  

Step 6

: Mount the UMC to 

the fixture by tightening the 

Chase Nipple with  the 

locknut.

Section 4: Wiring the Cables to the LED Driver

Wire the other end of 

the sensor cable  to the LED 

driver’s XSR connections.

After mounting, rotate the UMC to the required direction and 

turn the power on.
