(5) for the bevel angle and tilt the saw to
the desired position. Retighten the locking
screw (5). You can also check the set
inclination angle using the bevel scale (28)
and the bevel indicator (29).

Use the supplied hex key (37) to turn the
locking nut (13) to set the adjustable fence
(12). The distance to the saw blade (16)
must not exceed 8 mm. Check the setting
by lowering the saw. If necessary, adapt the
tensioning clamp (17) to the adjustable
fence (12). Retighten the locking nut (13).

Place the workpiece to be machined up
against the adjustable fence (12). Fasten it
as described in the section "Clamping the
workpiece".

Push the safety lock-off (15) and Press the
On/Off switch (1)and keep it pressed in.
The saw starts up. Then press the handle
(2) down carefully lower the saw onto the
workpiece. Saw by applying moderate
pressure.

After completing the cut, release the On/
Off switch (1). Allow the saw to stop turning
before moving it back to the starting
position.
6. Clean and maintenance
WARNING! Risk of injury. Always switch
the appliance off and remove the
battery pack before carrying out any
work on the appliance.
∫ Repair and servicing work not described in
this manual should always be carried by our
service center. Use only original parts.
∫ The appliance must always be kept clean,
dry and free from oil or grease.
∫ Use a soft, a slightly moist cloth to clean
the housing.
∫ Always clean the appliance after completion
of work.
∫ Never permit any liquids to enter inside the
appliance. Never use petrol, solvents or
cleansers which can damage the plastic.
∫ Remove the dust and chips from the chip
ejector after each work, if the chip ejector
is blocked, clean it with suitable means (e.g.
compressed air).
∫ If the battery is to be stored for an extended
period, the charge level should be checked
regularly. The optimum charge level is
between 50% and 80%. The optimum
storage environment is cool and dry.
7. Storage and Transportation
WARNING! Risk of injury. Always
switch the appliance off and remove
the battery pack before storage and
transportation.
Storage
1. Switch the appliance off and remove the
battery pack.
2. Clean the appliance as described.
3. Store the appliance and its accessories in a
dark, dry, frost-free, well-ventilated place.
4. Always store the appliance in a place that is
inaccessible to children.
5. During a longer storage period, check the
state of charge of the battery and recharge
if necessary roughly every 3 months.
6. Use the original package to store in order
to protect the appliance from external
influences.
7. Regularly check the charge level of the
battery pack, if it is to be stored for
an extended period. Optimum storage
conditions are cool and dry.
Transportation

Only transport the appliance with the
transport restraint (25) in place and use
the carrying handle (22).
Removing / inserting transport restraint
◊
to remove the transport restraint (25),
apply a little pressure to the handle (2) and
pull out the transport restraint (25) as far
as it will go. The motor unit (3) can now be
moved upwards.
