INSTALLATION AND INITIAL USE
Remove all packaging materials and check that the appliance/accessory is complete and
undamaged.
Rinse the smoothie maker and accessories (mixing container (4), blade assembly (5) and
holder (6), lid for mixing container (1/2) thoroughly before using for the first time and
after each subsequent use. Please note that the parts are not dishwasher safe.
The appliance is driven by an electric motor. This can lead to a slight smell du-
ring initial operation. This smell is normal and is not a sign of a malfunctioning
appliance. Ensure adequate ventilation.
USING THE SMOOTHIE MAKER
Twist the lid and/or blade holder anti-clockwise to remove
from the mixing container.
Place the mixing container on a level surface, with the ope-
ning facing upwards, and fill it with the ingredients. Do not
exceed the maximum filling level, marked with
600 ml
, on
the mixing container.
Then place the blade holder on the mixing container ope-
ning and screw it on tightly by twisting it clockwise.
Connect the mixer to a 220–240 V ~, 50–60 Hz domestic
power socket.
Place the mixing container with the blade holder facing
downwards on the motor base. Take care to ensure that the
arrow on the blade holder
matches the
arrow on the
motor base.
Press and turn the mixing container clockwise in the di-
rection of the arrow
so that the mixing container
clicks into place.
Press the power button
to start the chopping function.
As soon as the power button
is released, the chopping fun-
ction stops.
NOTICE!
Possible damage to the appliance!
Never run the chopping function for
more than 60 seconds. If you would like to
make several smoothies, wait a few minutes
until the appliance has cooled down.
