AFTER USE
1) Rotate the ON/OFF knob (H) to position "0".
2) Remove the remaining chocolate. If you want to reuse the remaining chocolate, put it in a
container when it is still liquid.
3) Wash the appliance after use. Follow the instructions present in the "Cleaning and mainte-
nance" section.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Regular maintenance and cleaning preserve and maintain the appliance efficient for a longer
period.
Warning!
All cleaning operations described below must be made with power off and the electrical
plug disconnect from the power outlet.
Each cleaning and maintenance operation should be performed when the unit is com-
pletely cooled.
Don't try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact authorized assistance cent-
ers or authorized Ariete technicians for technical support.
Cleaning the base
Warning!
Don't immerse the base in water. Dont' wash in the dishwasher. Don't use aggressive
products or solvents that may damage the plastic.
Wash the appliance using a slightly wet, non-abrasive cloth, water and few drops of a non-
aggresive product.
Cleaning of removable elements
Disassemble and wash individually the tower, the conveyor and the tower holder. Use only warm
water and non-aggressive products. Don't use abrasive sponges. The removable elements can be
washed in the dishwasher.
SETTING THE MACHINE OUT OF SERVICE
1) unplug it from the electric outlet.
2) Cut the power cord.
In case of disposal, separate all the materials. Dispose of the materials according to the applica-
ble laws in the country of use.
