Make sure lift can handle collector weight,
and can safely reach desired height (Fig.
6.2.2).
These lifts typically require a trained and
certified operator. These also provide stable
platforms for working on steeply-pitched roofs
(Figs. 6.2.2 & 6.2.3).
Scaffolding is inexpensive and very effective
for hoisting collectors and for providing a
stable work platform, Fig. 6.2.4.
