- Press [Exit] key to draw back from the “OSD Setting” menu.
3.6 Parental Lock
You can set a password for anyone who wishes to operate in the “Installation” menu. And you can also
set a password for the locked channels. (How to lock a channel please refers to LOCK).
In “Parental Lock” function, press [OK] key. A dialogue will prompt to input the password. The default
password is “3330”. When you input the correct password, you will see a screen like below:
- The “Menu Lock” function determines if a password is required to enter in the “Installation” menu. The
setting “Menu Lock” as “ON” means that the user have to input a password, and “OFF” means unlocked.
- “Channel Lock” can set the channel which users want to lock. If you want to see the locked channel(s),
you can set channel lock as “OFF”.
- New Password is used for revising password; you can press [OK] key firstly then input the new
password in this item by using number keys form the remote directly. After you filled in four numbers, the
highlight will auto skip to Confirm Password and ask you to input the new password again. If the password
is correct, the screen will show up a message of “Change password successfully”. After finish saving and
draw back to “System Setup” menu, the revising is complete.
- Press [Exit] key to draw back from the “Parental Lock” menu.
