Option Switch Settings for Resolute Gas
For a typical Resolute Gas boiler installation, supplying properly sized heat zones, switch 1 will be 'ON', and switch
2 will be ‘ON’, all other option switch settings will be "OFF".
Switch 1 is turned on to provide increased condensing protection for gas fired boilers.
Switch 2 is turned on for inducer operation.
NOTICE:
The inducer output will not operate unless Option Switch 2 in the Digital Energy Manager is set to "ON".
When the burner shuts off, the inducer will stay on for a period of about 5 minutes to purge the flue products from
the boiler. Option Switch 3 is temperature based and will turn the inducer off after the boiler return drops to a
certain temperature. Option Switch 4 regulates the minimum time the inducer will stay on.
Switches 3 and 4 are usually turned off. It is recommended that both dip switches 3 and 4 be left ‘OFF’, unless you
have consulted with tech support at the factory.
Switches 5 through 8 are usually off, but can be turned on if one of the heat zones tends to overheat during energy
recovery.
Switch 9 is usually off, but can be turned on to supply higher temperature water to under-radiated heating zones or
during very cold weather.
Switch 10 is usually off, but when turned on the Manager will provide Hot Water Priority and will close heat zones 1
through 4 during a Zone HW call for up to 25 minutes.
