•  Do not use the portable AC power in a positive-grounded 

vehicle. Check with your mechanic to determine if your 

vehicle is positive-grounded.

•  During operation, keep the portable AC power away from 

materials that may be affected by high temperatures.

•  Make sure the power port and plug are clean. A dirty 

power port can prevent the portable AC power from 

working properly.

•  Always remove the portable AC power from power when 

not in use.

Heat Dispersion

The portable AC power’s thermal protection prevents it from 

operating when its temperature exceeds 158F (70C). If the AC 

power gets too hot while working, it will turn off. Position the 

AC power where air flows freely around it to allow the heat to 

disperse. Operation resumes when temperature decreases to 

about 104°F (40°C).
