External Alarm Setup
Alarm Input defines the way the connector responds to external input, in terms of whether it is normally open (NO), normally closed (NC), or they ignore the input.
The default is OFF.
The alarm input setup screen allows you to set these options:

Alarm Input
The Alarm Input that is displayed on the screen allows you to change the alarm input options.
Use the following steps to change the Alatm Input option:

Press or to move the cursor to Alarm Input.

Press or to select the new option.

OFF:
The alarm input is ignored.
•
NO:
The unit looks for a short for alarm condition.
•
NC:
The unit looks for an open for alarm condition.

Press MENU to go to the previous OSD window.
Latch
This option is used to determine how long the alarm message will display on the screen.

Press or to move the cursor to the alarm LATCH option.

Press or to select the new option.

ON:
The external alarm message disappears on screen after pressing the MENU button.
•
OFF:
The external alarm message remains on screen until alarm event is terminated (Default)..

Press MENU to go to the previous OSD window.
Beep Time
The Beep Time option allows you to select the time to sound the beep.
Use the following steps to change this option:

Press or to move the cursor to Beep Time.

Press or to select the time desired.
Beep Time can be set from 0 to 99 seconds.
