Connection conditions

Requirements for connecting cables and chargers
Connecting cable between sensor and transmitter
Only use the cable supplied.
The connecting cables and chargers provided by the customer must fulfill the following
requirements.
Electrical safety
National regulations and standards apply.

Connecting the measuring device
6.2.1
Connecting the connecting cable
Connect the sensor to the transmitter only using the connecting cable supplied.
Damage to the measuring device
Damaged cables can impact the functional integrity of the measuring device.

Do not bend or shorten the connecting cable.
‣
Do not remove the plug of the connecting cable.
‣
Replace damaged or broken cables immediately.
‣
Insert the connectors of the connecting cable into the socket at the position indicated
until they engage with a click.
Red dots on the connectors indicate the position. The two connections on the cable are
not identical - one is only designed for the sensor and the other is designed exclusively
for the transmitter.
