Forced Zero (Hard Zero)
: Provides a measuring mode that displays
negative oxygen values as zero. Devices can still be used in standard
measuring mode in which the Forced Zero function is inactivated and
negative values are displayed.
Setting the Forced Zero mode
1.
Click the
Forced Zero
mode field to view the drop down menu.
2.
Select one of the forced zero modes shown in Table 4–3.
Forced Zero mode definitions
• Passive mode: Forced zero option is inactivated and negative measure

ment readings are shown.
• Active mode: In this mode, a negative value will be seen as 0% [ppm] O
2
.
After rebooting the device, the default mode “passive” is reactivated.
