Certificates and approvals
The devices are designed and tested to meet state-of-the-art safety requirements in accordance with
sound engineering practice. They have left the factory in a condition in which they are safe to
operate. The devices comply with the standards EN 61010 -1 "Protection Measures for Electrical
Equipment for Measurement, Control, Regulation and Laboratory Procedures" and with the EMC
requirements of IEC/EN 61326.
The measuring system described in these Operating Instructions therefore complies with the legal
requirements of the EU Directives. Hauser confirms this by affixing the CE mark to it and
by issuing the CE declaration of conformity.
The measuring system is in conformity with the EMC requirements of the "Australian
Communications and Media Authority (ACMA)".
The flowmeter has successfully passed all the test procedures carried out and is certified and
registered by the PNO (PROFIBUS User Organization).
The device thus meets all the requirements of the following specifications:
• Certified to PROFIBUS Specification Profile 3.0 version
(Device certification number: provided upon request)
• The measuring device can also be operated with certified devices of other manufacturers
(interoperability).
