Connecting to Prosonic Flow 93 in the field housing
!
Note!
• Fieldcheck can only be used with devices with software version 1.06.xx or higher.
• To connect Fieldcheck to the sockets in the Ex d field housing, the "PSONIC93 wall housing
connection plate set" accessory is needed as an adapter.

Caution!
Connect the ground terminals on the cables to the uninsulated housing components or to the
ground terminals in the cover of the connection compartment.
1.
Remove the cover of the electronics compartment (4).
2.
Remove the local display.
3.
Pull the sensor signal cable connector out of the amplifier socket (6).
4.
Connect the Simubox connectors to the PSONIC93 wall housing connection plate (9).

Note!
The SYNC connector must be connected to the Fieldcheck socket of the connection plate.
5.
Plug the connectors of the PSONIC93 wall housing connection plate (9) into the SYNC signal
socket (5) and the amplifier socket (6).
6.
Remove the cover of the connection compartment (7) from the transmitter housing.
7.
Connect Fieldcheck to the current and frequency outputs of the transmitter
(terminal pairs 22/23, 24/25 or 26/27).

Note!
The configuration of the outputs depends on the product type and the order version of the
tested transmitter. To find out which terminal pairs are assigned to the outputs, see the
"Wiring" Section of the flowmeter Operating Instructions.
8.
Connect Fieldcheck to the service connector (8).
