Battery disposal
• In some countries, the end user is legally obliged to return used batteries.
• The end user can return old batteries or electronic assemblies containing these batteries
free of charge to Hauser.
In accordance with German law regulating the use of batteries (BattG §17 Para Number 3),
this symbol is used to denote electronic assemblies that must not be disposed of as municipal
waste.

8.1.2
Description of application as a safety instrumented system
The sensor's tuning fork vibrates at its intrinsic frequency. The vibration frequency decreases
as the density increases. This change in the frequency causes the current signal to change.
The switch point is in the range of the tuning fork and depends on the installation position.
