The statutory basis for the disposal are the following EU directives or their implementation
in national law within the EU:

EU Directive RoHS

EU Directive waste electrical and electronic equipment
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Consumable materials must be disposed in accordance with binding workplace safety
and environmental provisions of law.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Biological samples must be treated in accordance with locally binding regulations for
the handling of infectious material.

Hazardous substances and related containers may not be disposed as domestic waste
nor be allowed to penetrate into a sewage system or the soil. The appropriate rules
and practices must be closely followed for disposal of such substances.
TIP
Unless agreed otherwise, the system or its components must be disposed of in accor-
dance with the statutory provisions after their use. The responsibility rests with the
owner of the system.
