Rack Assembly and Installation
1)
Place the rack components on a firm, flat surface. You can protect the surface with the corrugated shipping box.
2)
Place each hanger arm over and on the outside of the rectangle.
3)
Insert the button head screws through the hanger arms and the rectangle, and then tighten the screws into place using
the hex key provided.
4)
Attach the two flange nuts to the eyebolts. Make sure the round flat surface of each flange nut is facing out.
5)
Insert the eyebolts with the flange nuts attached, through the two holes on the top of the arms. Secure into place using
the two acorn nuts. Tighten with a wrench.
6)
We recommend that you anchor your rack into the solid wood of ceiling joists or beams. Carefully measure the area
where the rack is to be hung and install the ceiling screw hooks directly into the wood joists. If it is not convenient to
hang your rack directly into wood joists you may use the included DRYWALL anchors enclosed with your rack. See
Toggler® brand manufacturer recommendations for weight limits included in the instructions in the Toggler kit.
7)
Carefully lift your rack into place and hang the eyebolts on to your ceiling screw hooks.
Grid Assembly
8)
Slip the four grid brackets over the rectangle on the inside of each arm with the “L” portion pointing to the middle
and place the grid inside the rack on top of the grid brackets.
9)
Please take care to distribute and balance heavier items around the rack.
It is important that your rack is assembled correctly. If assembled or used
incorrectly, it could become unstable and collapse, possibly causing injury.
