You control the action!
Use the adapted remote controller to make Thomas go forward and in
circles. Hear his fun engine sounds and theme song as he chugs along.
Great for teaching directionality. Size: 6 1/2"L x 3 1/2"W x 4"H.
Remote requires 2 AA Batteries; Engine requires 3 AA Batteries.
Operation:
1.
Thomas requires 3 AA batteries (Not included). Use alkaline
batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use
rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they
supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never
mix old and new batteries together or different brands or types
together.
2.
To install the batteries in the train turn the train over. Next remove
the screw holding the battery compartment door and lift the cover
off. Install 3 AA batteries following proper (+) & (-) battery
placement. Replace cover and turn the train’s ON/OFF switch
located on the back of the train to ON.
3.
To install the battery for the big button remote control, turn the
remote over and locate the small screw on the battery cover door.
Using a Phillips head screwdriver open the compartment and
install 2 AA batteries paying close attention to proper battery
polarity. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure with
the screw. Set the On/Off toggle switch to On.
4.
This big button controller allows the user to move Thomas forward
and a reverse circle. Slight pressure on the control button in either
of the two directions will drive Thomas in that direction. Once you
release pressure on the button Thomas will stop.
5.
When you are finished using Thomas turn the On/Off switch on
Thomas and controller to off, this will help conserve battery
power. If Thomas is not going to be used for a long period of time,
e.g. one month or longer, we recommend removing the batteries
from Thomas and controller during storage to prevent battery drain
or leakage, which can cause damage to Thomas and big button
controller.
Troubleshooting:
Problem:
Thomas is not running.
Action:
Make sure batteries in Thomas and the big button controller
are fresh and installed following proper (+) & (-) battery placement.
Problem:
Thomas is running intermittently.
Action:
Replace batteries in the big button remote control and
Thomas. Weak batteries will severely limit the normal transmitting
range of your remote control.
