Powering the Unit
Connect the USB cable
adapter to the port on the
left side of the reader.
Then plug the adapter
into a power source.
You can also use 4 AA alkaline batteries
to power your unit. The battery access
door is on the back of the unit.
If you are using batteries
and forget to turn the unit
off, it will beep every couple
of minutes to remind you
to turn it off.
