V1/2019-EM-Classic

Ÿ

Ÿ

Improper assembly, adjustments and changes can result in personal and material damages.

Ÿ

Do not try to alter the gas heater in any way.

Ÿ

Assembling this device and storing gas bottles must meet applicable requirements.

Ÿ

Do not move the gas heater during usage.

Ÿ

Shut the gas bottle valve and the gas control prior to moving the gas heater.

Ÿ

Change the pipe or the flexible hose annually.

Ÿ

In case of strong wind, ensure that gas heater won't fall over.

Ÿ

Do not store or use fuel – or any other flammable vapours or liquids – in the heater.

Ÿ

Prior to usage, inspect the entire gas system, hose control, pilot flame device and burner for leaks and damages.

Ÿ

Conduct any leak tests using soap solution. Never search for leaks with an open flame.

Ÿ

Only use the gas heater once all connections have been inspected for leaks.

Ÿ

Immediately shut the gas valve in case of gas odours.

Ÿ

Do not transport gas heater during operation.

Ÿ

Upon shutoff, only move the gas heater when it has cooled down.

Ÿ

Keep clear and clean all ventilation openings of the gas bottle housing.

Ÿ

Do not paint the radiation shade, the user panel and the upper roof reflector.

Ÿ

Keep clean the user panel, burner and circulation air channels of the gas heater.

Ÿ

Clean more frequently, where necessary.

Ÿ

The liquid gas tank should be turned off when the gas heater is not in operation.

Ÿ

Immediately check the gas heater in the following cases:

Ÿ

The gas heater does not heat up sufficiently

Ÿ

During operation, the burner makes popping noises (a little noise is normal when turning off burner).

Ÿ

Gas smell in connection with extremely yellow burner flame tip.

Ÿ

The liquid gas control/ hose assembly unit may not be positioned on paths in a manner as to cause a tripping hazard or
where the hose might be accidentally damaged.

Ÿ

All protective cladding and safety devices removed for gas heater maintenance must be reattached prior to gas heater
usage.

Ÿ

Exchange the gas bottle in a well-ventilated area, removed from ignition sources.

Ÿ

Check whether the control sealing has been installed and is in good condition.

Ÿ

Do not block the gas bottle housing ventilation holes.

Ÿ

Adults and children must stay away from the hot surface in order to prevent burns and lighting of clothes.

Ÿ

Children must be carefully supervised when lingering near the gas heater.

Ÿ

Do not suspend clothes and other flammable materials from the gas heater.

Ÿ

Users may themselves exchange the rubber hose but must ensure that the length of the hose is 60 cm. The hose must meet
the respective national requirements.

Ÿ

Liquid gas characteristics: flammable, explosive, and heavier than air and deposits on floor.

Ÿ

In its natural state, propane is odourless. For your safety, we added an odorant smelling like rotting cabbage.

Ÿ

Contact with liquid gas can cause frostbite on the skin with burn-like characteristics.

Ÿ

This gas heater is delivered by factory only for use with propane, butane and their mixtures (normally called liquid gas).

Ÿ

Only use 15 kg liquid gas bottles meeting the regional requirements (the same as usually used for gas grills), with safety
valves.

Ÿ

When not using the gas heater, SHUT the regulation valve. Close the gas bottle valve and the gas control after usage.

Ÿ

Using the device in close spaces can be dangerous and is PROHIBITED.

Ÿ

Never use the gas heater in the rain, as the glass tube would break in case of sudden water contact.

Ÿ

Always turn off the gas heater during rain.

Ÿ

Never spray liquids onto the glass tube when the gas heater is operating.

Ÿ

The glass tube becomes hot when the gas heater is operating. Never try to touch the glass tube and keep children away
from the gas heater.

Qualified specialised person/ service technician must carry out assembly and repairs.
