6. INSTRUMENT INSTALLATION
- Screw on everything in the flow line, interposing the appropriate
gaskets (and the adapter complete with O-ring on the thermowell side
of the ball valve).
- Reopen the ball valves.
- Proceed with the calibration using the handwheel located on the balan-
cing valve (follow the instructions supplied with the valve).
6.4 Pulse adapter.
To install a pulse adapter inside the metal box, perform the following
operations:
- Remove the frame from the box;
- Connect the water pulse-emitting meters to the terminals of the
adapter (water meter n.1 to terminals P1+ and P1-, water meter n.2 to
terminals P2+ and P2-);
- Connect a section of 2-wire unshielded twisted cable to the 2 terminals
indicated by the letter M on the adapter (in order to prepare for connec-
tion to the M-Bus backbone);
- Fix the pulse adaptor to the DIN bar segment on the upper part of the
box.
