Networking settings for Windows 98 and
Windows ME
1. Windows 98: Right-click 'Network neighbourhood' on your desktop.
2. Windows ME: Right-click 'My network places' on your desktop.
3. Choose 'Properties'.
4. Select 'TCP/IP'.
5. Click 'Properties'.
6. Select 'Obtain an IP Address automatically'.
7. Click the 'WINS configuration' tab.
8. Select 'Disable WINS resolution'.
9. Click the 'DNS configuration' tab.
10. Click 'Disable DNS'.
11. Click the 'Gateway' tab.
12. Remove previously installed gateways.
