2.0 Installing the EM7100 wireless sender unit 

The EM7100 sender can be connected using different types of video cables: Using 
HDMI, using component or by using SCART (composite to SCART). Use the following 
steps to connect the EM7100. 

2.1.1 Installing the sender unit using HDMI 

1. 

Take the EM7100 (Sender and receiver unit) and accessories out of the 
packaging. 

2. 

Place the sender unit near your media player or media device. 

3. 

Connect the IR flasher (IR cable) to the ‘IR-OUT’ connection on the sender unit. 

4. 

Connect the HDMI cable to the ‘HDMI 1’ connection of the sender unit. 

5. 

Connect the other side of the HDMI cable to your media player or media device. 

6. 

Place the IR flasher near or in front of the media player or media device.  

7. 

Place the sender unit in the supplied standard for optimal stability. 

2.1.2 Installing the sender unit using component 

1. 

Place the sender near your media player or media device. 

2. 

Connect the IR flasher (IR cable) to the ‘IR-OUT’ connection on the sender unit. 

3. 

Connect the component cables to the corresponding colors of the component 
adapter.  

4. 

Connect the other side of the component cables to the corresponding ports of 
your media player or media device. 

5. 

Then connect the component adapter to the ‘PC-IN’ connection of the sender 
unit. 

6. 

Place the IR flasher near or in front of the media player or media device.  

7. 

Place the sender unit in the supplied standard for optimal stability. 

2.1.3 Installing the sender using SCART or composite 

1. 

Place the sender  unit near your media player or media device. 

2. 

Connect the IR flasher (IR cable) to the ‘IR-OUT’ connection of the sender unit. 

3. 

Connect the SCART or composite to SCART to the ‘AV-IN’ connection of the 
sender unit. 

4. 

Place the IR flasher near or in front of the media player or media device.  

5. 

Place the sender unit in the supplied standard for optimal stability. 

3.0 Installing the receiver unit 

The EM7100 receiver unit can be connected using different types of video cables: 
Using HDMI, using component or by using SCART (composite to SCART). Use the
