The Rosemount 5408:SIS (profile code F) has two operational modes: Safety (SIS) and Control/Monitoring. Safety (SIS)
mode must be set when used in Safety Instrumented Systems. Control/Monitoring mode is intended for use in a Basic
Process Control System (BPCS).
