Mechanical installation

4.3.1

Mounting on top of a temperature sensor/WLS

1. Ensure that the temperature and water

level sensors are properly installed as
described in

Section 3: MST/WLS

Installation

2. Unscrew the four screws and remove the

cover.

3. Remove the plug that protects the cable

entry at the bottom of the 2240S
transmitter housing.

4. Attach the 2240S transmitter on top of the

temperature sensor tube.

5. Run the sensor wires into the terminal

compartment.

6. Tighten the nut on the 2240S transmitter

by hand.

7. Proceed with electrical installation of

Tankbus, temperature elements, and water
level sensor. See

“Electrical installation” on

page 33
