IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Make sure the power switch is off and
the battery packs are removed before
clearing jammed material, making
adjustments, changing accessories,
storing or servicing the Vac. Unexpected
actuation of the Vac while clearing
jammed material or servicing may result
in serious personal injury.
• Use Vac only with approved battery
pack(s), refer to “Installation of Battery
Pack(s)” section. Use of any other
battery pack(s) may create a risk of
injury and fire.
When using an electrical appliance, basic
precaution should always be followed,
including the following:
• Use only as described in this Owner’s
Manual. Use only the recommended
attachments, battery pack(s), chargers,
and replacement parts.

battery pack’s electrical connectors,
the locks must be fully engaged
when battery pack(s) are attached to
vacuum or charger.

This product and some dust created by power sanding, sawing, grinding, drilling, and
other construction activities may contain chemicals, including lead, known to the State
of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Wash hands
after handling.
Some examples of these chemicals are:
• lead from lead-based paints.
• crystalline silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products and,
• arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber.
Your risk from exposure to these chemicals varies, depending on how often you do
this type of work. To reduce your exposure, work in a well-ventilated areas and with
approved safety equipment, such as dust masks that are specially designed to filter
out microscopic particles.
