Guidelines
When you are attempting to diagnose a problem with an S600:
Remember to write down what steps you have taken.
Note the order in which you remove components.
Note the orientation of the components before you modify or
remove them.
Read and follow all Cautions in this manual.
Before you contact your local sales representative or technical support
with a problem, first check the following:
Check that all the plug-in boards are seated correctly and the
retaining screws are fastened.
Check that all the field wiring is properly connected.
Check the supply voltage.
When you are done troubleshooting, perform a warm start or cold start
If your local sales representative or technical support instructs you to
return the S600, replace the troubled parts with spares and return the
troubled parts to the address given by the local sales representative or
technical support.
