Replacing the HD Ball Seal
Perform this procedure if the control valve is not shutting off properly or if seal inspection is necessary.
The valve / actuator assembly must be removed from the pipeline. To avoid potential interference with the valve
outlet end pipe flange, the V200U ball should be in the closed position prior to removal. For DN 80 and 100 (NPS 3 and
4), the actuator may remain mounted on the valve for ball seal replacement. For DN 150 through 250 (NPS 6 through
10), the actuator must be removed from the valve to replace the ball seal. Key numbers are shown in figures 14 and 15
unless otherwise indicated. Ball Seal assembly details (with key numbers) are also shown in figure 6.
