compartment is
too cold.
Sometimes popping
or cracking sound
when compressor
activated.
Bubbling or gurgling
sound, like water
boiling.
Vibrations.
Moisture forms on
inside freezer walls.

outside of freezer.
The door cannot
close properly.
• Temperature control is set too cold.
• The temperature control is set at “MAX”
setting. This causes continuous running
of the compressor and bypasses the
temperature control.
• Metal parts like the copper pipes
undergo expansion and contraction, as
in hot water pipes.
• Refrigerant gas (used to cool freezer)
is circulating throughout the system
• Check to assure that the freezer is
level.
• The floor is uneven. Freezer rocks on
the floor when it is moved slightly.
• The freezer is touching the wall.
• Weather is hot and humid, which
increases internal frost build-up.
• Door is slightly open.
• Door is kept open too long, or is
opened too frequently.
• The door is not sealed properly.
• Door is slightly open, the cold air from
inside the freezer leaking to outside.
• The door gasket is dirty.
• The storage basket is out of position, or
not install properly.
• Adjust the temperature
control position at middle
• Turn the control to a warmer
setting and allow several
hours for the temperature to
stabilize.
• This is normal. Sound will
disappear as freezer
continues to run.
• This is normal.
• Ensure freezer placed level
• Level the freezer by putting
wood or metal shims under
part of the freezer.
• Leave spacing between the
freezer and the wall.
