Appendix F - Motor Controller Status codes explanation
Motor Controller Status is displayed in two inControl locations:
•
Monitor | System | Motor Controller Status, and
•
Faults and Events | Fault Snapshot 1 | Motor Controller Status
In each case, the Motor Controller Status field is displayed as a
collection of two-digit hexadecimal codes, separated by semicolons
(see
):

These hex numbers are decoded into fault status messages, visible
when the dropdown arrow button next to the fault title is clicked.
Clicking on this down arrow button will expand the view to include
a vertical array of fault messages, each with its own checkbox (see
). The hex fault codes can be decoded to select one or
more of up to 32 fault messages, whose active status is displayed in
this array as a check mark in the message check boxes.

illustration, each message number address has been added to the
illustration in red, between 0 and 31).

Motor controller status fault messages.
Two hex digits (0x
00
) can address any combination of eight bits
(0000 0000), so four sets of two hex digits can address any
), and 32 messages.
When a nonzero hex code is present in any of the hex digit sets, the
corresponding status message will have its checkbox checked in the
vertical status message array. Click the dropdown arrow button to
view these status messages.
