Managing Alerts

High - A critical event has occurred that needs to be resolved
immediately. The operation and performance of the DL3D is
degraded and there is a risk of impending system failure or data
loss.
System status tickets or recommended action tickets (RAS) help you
resolve certain events in the DL3D. Some service tickets (and/or
associated recommended actions files) give you a series of steps that
may resolve the problem. Users who are familiar with the DL3D
should perform the procedures described in system status tickets. If
you have any further questions, contact EMC customer support.
Viewing service tickets
DL3D 1500/3000 users must have the Administrator privilege to
view service tickets.
To view the System Status page, on the Alerts page, click System
Status
. The System Status page appears.
The System Status page lists the information described in Table 13 .
Note: You can click the
Ticket
,
State
,
Priority
,
Last Update,
and
Details
column headings to sort the rows in the report by the data in the respective
column. Click the column heading again to invert the sorting sequence from
ascending order to descending order.
To view a specific ticket, click the ticket number. The Ticket Details
are displayed at the bottom of the screen.

System status
Column Description
Ticket Service ticket numbers, which can be listed in ascending
or descending order by clicking the top of the column.
State The current status of the service ticket. State can be either
Open or Closed.
Priority The severity level of the problem described in the service
ticket. The priority level is Low, Middle, or High.
Last Updated Date when the service ticket was last accessed, either
opened or closed depending on the selected sort order.
Details A summary of the problem reported by the DL3D
1500/3000 and DL3D appliance.
