Configuring the Director
Configuring Port Addresses
This operation applies only if the director’s Management Style is set to
FICON
. (Refer to Configuring the Management Style on page 5-2.)
Use this procedure to create and activate port address configurations
for S/390 connections.
To configure, save, and activate port addresses, follow these steps:
1. Click Configure on the Product Manager menu bar and select
Addresses
on the drop-down menu; then click Active on the
pop-up submenu.
This displays the dialog box in Figure 5-10.

All port addresses for the director are listed across the top of the
matrix to the right of the first three columns. The same addresses
are also listed down the left side of the dialog box. If a cell
