Antimicrobial Coating
Your EMBASSY
®
door lock’s buttons are coated
with an antimicrobial coating. This factory-
applied coating releases silver ions that help
suppress the growth of destructive bacteria
and other microbes on high-touch surfaces.

Reset to Factory Default
In some situations, you may wish to wipe all
the codes and settings from your EMBASSY
®
door lock. Or, you may need to re-trigger
the automatic handing of the lock. For
either of these situations, you will need to
perform a full reset of your lock (page 16).
How It Works: Performing the reset operation will delete all
user settings and all codes, including the Master Code. The
Master Code will be restored to the default 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8.
A reset will also trigger the automatic handing of the lock.
