2. Installation
2.1 Unpacking and positioning

Unpack the appliance carefully. Dispose of the packaging as described in
chapter
WASTE MANAGEMENT
.

The accessories of the appliance may be equipped with transport protections.
Be very careful and do not use any aggressive or abrasive detergents to remove
residuals of the transport protection.
3.
Check that the appliance and the power cord are not visible damaged.
4.
Do not install the appliance in a place where it may come in contact with water
or rain; otherwise the insulation of the electrical system will be damaged.
5.
Install the appliance on a
level, dry and solid floor
. Check the correct
installation with a bubble level.
6.
The nameplate is inside the appliance or at the back.
2.2 Installation/hob
The customer is responsible for the installation. If the manufacturer´s help is
needed to repair any damage due to improper installation, this repair work is not
covered by the guarantee. Improper installation may cause serious personal injuries
and/or property damage. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for such injuries
or damages.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION
NOTICE!
Never seal the hob using a sealant (e.g. silicon). Appliance and
worktop can be damaged when dismounting the appliance.
Frame/bevels mounting
The sealing strip below the edge of the top of
the appliance will ensure adequate sealing.
Tiled worktop
The joints (1) and the hatched area below the
contact area of the hob must be smooth and
level so the hob will rest down evenly and the
sealing strip will ensure adequate sealing.
