12.3.2 - Preset Recall
The family of HALO-C presets are pre-installed on the DQ amplifiers, and as such they can
be used following the normal preset recall procedure. As detailed above, recall the preset
that relates to the size of the array hang, not the number of elements per channel. The
presets available are:
HALOC.1-2 1-2 element array size
HALOC.3-4 3-4 element array size
HALOC.5-8 5-8 element array size
HALOC.9-12 9-12 element array size
HALOC.13-16 13-16 element array size
HALOC.17-24 17-24 element array size.
As mentioned above, these presets are intended to be a starting point and additional
work may be required depending on the venue, the style of content and the end result
you are looking for.
There is also a preset pre-installed for the HALO-CS subwoofer, which should be used
regardless of the number of HALO-CS subwoofers being driven.
The presets available are:
HALOCS.Sub Standard HALO-CS subwoofer preset
12.4 – Use with the DSC48 Controller
The same family of presets are loaded onto the DSC48 system controller, and the recall
procedure is exactly the same.
