11. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Make sure that the appliance is powered off and unplugged before you
start cleaning it.
•
Never immerse the appliance or charging base in water or any other
liquid .
•
Never use solvents, abrasive detergents or scouring pads to clean the
appliance.
•
Never use the appliance without the filters.
Cleaning the body of the appliance
The surfaces of the appliance can be cleaned with a lightly moistened soft
cloth.
Emptying and cleaning the dust container
Empty and clean the container when the contents reach the MAX level on
the dust container.
EMPTYING THE CONTAINER
1 . Press the tube release button to separate the tube from the motor unit
appliance.
2. Press the dust container cover release button.
3. Shake the dust container over a bin to empty its contents, then close the
cover.
4. If the dust container is especially dirty, unscrew it along with the large
particle filter.
5. Empty the contents of the dust container into a bin and clean the large
particle filter.
6. Put the coarse particle filter back in place.
7. If necessary, wash the container with a soft sponge and warm water; let
it dry completely before putting it back on the vacuum cleaner (to prevent
water being sucked into the electrical components).
