3.2 Ground connection
Warning!
A permanent ground contact must be made via the grounding connection
(3, Fig. 1). The ground cable should have a minimum cross section of
1.5 mm
²
.
3.3 Connecting the air hose
Caution!
The RX22 ion blower unit STATICJET is fitted with a plug-type connector
for outside tolerated compressed air hoses with
8 mm. The maximum
rated pressure is 0.2 MPa. If necessary, use a pressure regulator, air filter,
oil and water separator.
3.4 Connecting the supply voltage
Caution!
A 24 VDC line current, designed for a min. current of 120 mA per unit, is
required for operating the RX22 ion blower unit STATICJET.
Supply voltage is to be provided by the customer and connected via the
plug supplied with the unit, see Fig. 4. Alternatively, the power supply
available as accessory may be used.
To ensure that no high voltage is generated when the material web is at
rest, we recommend releasing the high voltage via the remote contact. If
the material web is at rest, or if the machine is not in operation, no high
voltage will then apply.
