9.3.
LONGEVITY OF THE BATTERIES
In order to maximize the longevity of the batteries, remember the following:
•
Do not expose the batteries to cold weather when the charging level is low.
•
Batteries need to be regularly recharged to keep their stamina.
•
The normal charging time is 4,5 hours to restore the batteries to 100% charging
level.
•
Do not let the batteries stand unused over long periods of time, especially in cold
climate.
•
Do not charge below 0°C
9.4.
GENERAL FAULT DIAGNOSIS BATTERY
•
If the batteries display poor performance even after a normal charge, contact an
authorized ELLWEE service company for advice.
•
If the batteries overheat or malfunction in any other way, contact an authorized
ELLWEE service company for advice.
•
If the ELLWEE is heavily loaded and/or used for a long consecutive time and/or at
high speeds, the electric engine and the batteries may be strained, park the
ELLWEE and allow the electric system to cool down.
9.5
PROLONGED STORAGE
In case the vehicle will not be used during a prolonged time, you may ask an authorized ELLWEE service
company to disconnect the battery store in a location with ambient temperature.
