GENERAL DESCRIPTION
TM24I
is a fire alarm addressable sounder device with optical indicator compatible with ELKRON FAP54
fire detection control panels.
The device contains a short circuit isolator in order to preserve the detection circuit integrity and a
bicolour red/green LED to show its operating status and its device address. Inside the device, there are 8
red LED that blink during the acoustic signalling. The addressable device is configurable by the control
panel or using a set of micro-switches: it is possible to disable the optical signalling, set the volume and
the tones.
In the addressable device, the acoustic and optical synchronization with the other optical/acoustic
devices installed on the same detection circuit is implemented.

can also be used as a sounder device not connected to the detection circuit but power supplied
and controlled by a fire alarm signalling circuit (siren output) of a fire detection control panel.
ADDRESSING AND PROGRAMMING
The address of the device (1-128) is configured via software by using the fire detection control panel with
automatic or manual procedure. The address is internally stored in a non volatile memory. The address
can be displayed by the bicolour LED indicator using a specific procedure activated in the control panel.
The addressable device
is recognized by the control panel as an “OM” device and it is activated or
silenced by the control panel according to its settings.
The device can be configured by the control panel or using the micro-switches.
