Gravity Fed Filling Instructions

Open the Manual Air Release Valve
located on top of the unit.

Partially open the

” Inlet Valve.

When the water level rises up to the
Bio-reactor’s Top Grill Plate

, close
the Manual Air Release Valve.

Carry on filling the unit until the Mechanical
Tri-Valve
(A)
seals itself; this happens when
a small white ball appears at the top of
the valve.

Fully open the
1.5
” Inlet Valve.

Open the Return Valve (right hand valve)

Switch on the main water pump.

Switch off the main water pump and close the
1.5
” Inlet Valve and Return Valve.

Open the Bio-reactor Waste Water Valve
(I)
and allow the water level to drop
to just above the top grill.

Close Waste Water valve.
(I)

Open the Manual Air Release Valve (very important).
(D)

Pull up The Sliding Grill via the handle on top of the unit.

Switch on your air pump (max 30 lpm) and plug the airline into the air valve

; this supplies
the Bio-reactor’s air cleaning system.

The Orbs media will start to bubble and rotate; this dislodges debris from the media.

After two to three minutes, drain to waste by opening the Waste Water valve

Close valve

when drained.

Unplug the airline (it is important to unplug the airline when refilling).

Refill the Bio-reactor by partially opening the

” Inlet Valve
