Installation of the Sensor 

 

For mounting the sensor two M3 screws are required.  

 

Observe the mounting tolerances stated in section 

 7.2.2. 

7.2.1

 

Alignment of Sensor / Magnetic Tape 

Since the active sensor surface is not in the center of the sensor housing, it should be ensured that the sensor 

head is aligned and mounted such that the active sensor surface is in the middle of the magnetic tape. This is 
achieved in a simple manner and without additional equipment. Just use the correct side of the sensor (see fig-
ure below) and install it flush with the magnetic tape.
