MOVING YOUR REFRIGERATOR 

Before your refrigerator is moved:

o

Take all objects out of your refrigerator.

o

Secure the shelves, drawers, and doors with

 

tape.

o

Tighten the leveling feet.

After moving or reversing the door, wait two

 

hours before turning on your refrigerator. This

 

reduces the chance of a malfunction in the

 

cooling system from handling and 

transpor

t

ation.

PREPARING FOR LONG-TERM STORAGE 

If your refrigerator is not going to be used for 

several months, turn it off, unplug it, remove all 

food, clean/dry it, and leave the doors open (or 

remove them) to prevent unpleasant smells or mold. 

WARNING: Supervise small children to make sure 

that they do not climb inside the refrigerator. 

SERVICING YOUR REFRIGERATOR 

Your refrigerator should be serviced by a qualified 

technician, and only genuine spare parts should be 

used. Under no circumstances should you attempt 

to repair the refrigerator yourself. Repairs carried 

out by inexperienced persons may cause injury or 

serious malfunction. Contact a qualified technician.
