
Mounting and removing a grinding wheel
Place the machine on a table, guard up.
Fit the spacer (8) onto the spindle (3).
Place the grinding wheel (9) on the spacer.
Screw the tension nut (10) onto the spindle.
Press the lock knob (2) and firmly tighten
the tension nut (10) using the spanner (11) supplied.
Release the lock knob.
To remove the grinding wheel, proceed in
reverse order .
Prior to mounting or
removing a grinding wheel
always unplug the tool.
Mounting and removing the side handle

Tighten the side handle (5) in one of the
mounting holes.
Switching on and off
_
To run the machine, slide the on/offswitch
(1) in the direction of the grinding wheel.
_
To switch off the machine, you slide the
on/off-switch (1) back.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The machine does not require any special
maintenance.
_
Make sure that the ventilation openings
are kept clean. Especially when working in
a dusty environment.
- Before removing dust always unplug
the tool.
- Do not use brushes of metal or the like
to remove dust and avoid damaging the
internal parts.
Checking and replacing the carbon brushes
The carbon brushes must be checked on a
regular basis.

Remove the carbon brush holders (6) and
clean the carbon brushes.
_
In case of wear, replace both carbon brushes at
the same time.
_
Mount the carbon brush holders.
_
After mounting new carbon brushes, let
the machine run at no load for 15 minutes.
Use only the correct type of
carbon brushes.
