GRASS TRIMMER
USE
Your grass trimmer has been designed to cut and
trim the edges of lawns and to cut grass in
inaccessible areas. This appliance is intended for
consumer use only. Not suitable for professional
use.
CHARGING AND INSERTION OR
REMOVAL OF THE BATTERY
Note: if the battery cannot be
inserted correctly, remove it
and check that it is a model
adapted to this type of charger,
in accordance with the table of
specifications. Do not charge
another battery pack or any
battery that cannot be inserted
safely into the charger.
1. Regularly monitor the charger and the battery
during the charging process.
2. After charging, unplug the charger from the
mains power supply, and remove the battery.
3. Let the battery cool down completely before
use.
4. Store the charger and the battery in a safe
place, out of the reach of children.
NOTE: If the battery is hot after
prolonged use in the
appliance, let it cool down to
room temperature before
recharging it.
This helps to prolong the
lifespan of batteries.
Removal/insertion of the battery
WARNING: before any
adjustment, unplug the power
cord from the mains
or remove the battery pack.

Hold the appliance in one hand and the battery
in the other.
▪
Insertion: push and slide the battery pack into
the battery port, ensure that the latch on the rear of
the battery is in place and that the battery is secured
before starting work.
▪
Removal: press on the battery’s opening latch
and remove the battery at the same time.
ASSEMBLY
The grass cutter is supplied with a number of
components that require mounting. Proceed as
follows:
Mounting the safety shield and the guide wheel

Fit the safety shield to the cutting head by ensuring
that the sides are placed in the grooves on the
cutting head.
▪
Fix the safety shield and the guide wheel to the
cutting head with the 4 screws provided.
Warning: The safety shield has
a very sharp cutting edge on
one side, for cutting the nylon
line.
Warning! Never use the grass
trimmer without the safety
shield. It is indispensable for
your own safety and that of
other persons, as well as for
the proper functioning of the
grass trimmer. The non-respect
of this safety standard is not
only dangerous, but it also
voids the conditions of the
warranty.
