They are very
sharp and you may cut yourself.

Be vigilant when operating to ensure that the fingers on the hand used to hold or move twigs to
be pruned are not exposed to the cutting blade.

Don’t force the machine to make it cut. You could slip and injure yourself or cut something else
unintentionally.

Always check the blades carefully before operation.

Handle the blades with extreme care to prevent cuts or injury from the blades.

Remove the battery after each use and before attempting to perform inspection or
maintenance.

Always wear protective gloves when using, adjusting or cleaning the machine.

sharp and you may cut yourself.
We recommend that people who are using a chainsaw for the first time should arrange for a
well-versed person to instruct them on how to work with a pole pruner and the safety equipment,
for example in the form of practical exercises .
Keep your working area free of obstacles and ensure that you have adequate freedom of
movement. Do not work in constricted areas in which you could continuously get too close to
the operating pole pruner.
Keep your working area tidy and free of off-cuts and other obstacles over which you could
stumble.
Ensure that you maintain a steady foothold. Only use the pole pruner on flat surfaces where
you have a firm footing. Never work on ladders or on slippery surfaces on which you could lose
your balance or otherwise lose control of the pole pruner.
Before you start cutting branches: Make sure that there is nobody within a range of at least
2-2.5 times the length of the branch.
Take the weather conditions into account when cutting branches. Do not cutting branches in
strong or gusting wind. Do not cutting branches in frost conditions or on frozen, icy ground. Do
not cutting branches in rain or if visibility is poor.
Always hold the pole pruner with your right hand on the rear handle and your left hand on the
front aluminum pole. Holding the pole pruner with your hands in the wrong positions increases
the risk of injury and must therefore be avoided.
Always wear suitable working clothes to prevent injuries to the head, hands and feet. For this
purpose wear a helmet, safety goggles (or visor), high boots (or strong shoes and long trousers
made of tough fabric) and work gloves.
A warning to never allow children, persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge or people unfamiliar with these instructions to
use the machine, local regulations may restrict the age of the operator.
Plan an escape route from falling branches in advance. Make sure that this escape route is free
of obstacles which could restrict or prevent free movement. Keep in mind that freshly cut grass
or bark is slippery.
